She won the brood mare class, was then Overall Section A Champion and at the end of the show was the Supreme Champion horse or pony, in-hand or ridden, on the field. In less than a week Letitia has won a silver and bronze Welsh Pony & Cob Society medal. Nerwyn Leonora was first in the foal class and Nerwyn Llabed  was second in the yearling class.

Many thanks to Letitia and Leonora for giving of their best each time they were shown and giving us so much pleasure, hopefully they can now enjoy some freedom and relaxation in the fields to enjoy the rest of what summer they may have.

SUNDAY AUGUST 5th

NATIONAL WELSH & WELSH PART-BRED CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW AT SHREWSBURY

What a difference just over a week makes, in contrast to the wet conditions at the Royal Welsh Show we were basking in bright sunshine all day at Shrewsbury.

We had an exceptional day with our ponies, Nerwyn Letitia was First in the Open Brood Mare class, her foal Nerwyn Leonora, was first in the foal class and Nerwyn Llabed  was first in the yearling colt class. Nerwyn Letitia then went on to be overall section A champion. It was such a pleasure to see three Nerwyn Cadno offspring in the Championship, Flydon Arian Byw winning the barren mare class. This was the second year running that a daughter of Cadno had won the championship at this prestigious show.

Later in the afternoon Nerwyn Letitia was third in the Rhydspence section A championship. Second in the Rhydspence was Polaris Taffeta, now the property of the Waller family, a daughter of Nerwyn Pelydryn.
