Nerwyn Leah was most successful as a brood mare for us. She bred mainly to our two stallions Nerwyn Tywysog and Verdrefawr Daniel. When mated to Tywysog she produced Nerwyn Gwyrthiol, Nerwyn Lieta, Nerwyn Llewelyn (exported to South Africa) and Nerwyn Lawnslot. Mated to Daniel she produced Nerwyn Leila, Nerwyn Lorna, and Nerwyn Lorena.

Leah was shown very successfully as a youngster, winning many Championships as a foal, yearling and two and three year old. As a yearling, she was second in her class at the Royal Welsh out of 68 entries, and as a two year old was placed third. We did not show her much as a brood mare as she got fed up of showing and therefore we thought it best for her to breed instead.

Her early death was a great loss to us.
